Project Architect

For years, Rich Keilman was tracking Barrett Studio’s successes from his mountain home in Carbondale, CO. Always drawn toward sustainable and intelligent design, Rich draws his inspiration from the rhythms and scale of the natural world around us. His core philosophy revolves around the practice of authentic intelligent design.

Rich is well versed in custom residential and commercial design and construction, successfully leading complex, award-winning projects early in his career. With a Bachelor and Master of Architecture from Kent State University in 1996, his work has taken him from Cleveland, to Aspen, to Carbondale and now to Boulder.

Most weekends, Rich can be found outdoors exploring Colorado’s history, landscapes and mountain towns with his dog Lucy, a boxer mix with soulful eyes.
