Home on Knoll is an expression of “Living Architecture” – placemaking that puts one in the experience of being part of the flow of life.
This home traces the daily cycles of the sun from sunrise to sunset. Daylight is introduced from multiple directions to provide both solar warmth and diffused illumination. The terraced floors follow the profile of the ground to place one in relationship to the site, just as the barrel vaulted roofs extrude the profile of the ridge top from which the home grows. It is an organic response to site.
