Home to a client with a passion for botany, Leaf Home contains an open floor plan that integrates flowing public space and sheltering private space.

The curved walls provide views to the valley below and privacy from the road above, while the garage is sheltered under the hillside to minimize its visual impact on the site. Interior rooms are open with walls of windows that take advantage of the sun and spectacular views.

Natural materials and close attention to color palette tie the home to the existing vegetation and extend the relationship with the land—giving the overall impression of a leaf gently resting on the edge of the mountain.
