Quinta Yolanda

On a 2.25 acre disused square city block in the heart of LaPaz, a sustainable pocket neighborhood is coming to life. A vital, mixed-use community that is active day and night will be layered into the site, providing ample opportunity for connection with fellow neighbors, retreat from the sun and heat, and delight in artful details. 70 residential units of varying size are complimented by rooftop palapas with ocean views and 22,000 sf of commercial space to include a neighborhood mercado, taqueria, panaderia, bank / ATM, and a community building with recreational facilities. Small parks pulse through the site, creating a sense of intrigue and encouraging exploration and discovery. A huerta (orchard) that recollects the site’s historical use, anchors one corner.
